Does anybody remember a story about twin boys that both needed a kidney in 2004?

It was about 2003/2004 a mother and her two twin boys were in the newspaper, the metro, but probably other publications too. They needed a kidney each, and obviously their mother could only donate one.

This was about twenty years ago, they’d be in their late twenties - early thirties by now. I vividly remember their picture. But cannot for the life of me find anything online. I’ve wondered for years what happened.

A long shot, does anybody remember, or better yet know?

Hope they’re alright and enjoying life, whoever they were.
