Nitrogen dioxide emissions are high across England, unlike most other countries in Europe. They tend to cause a range of respiratory issues, particularly in children, yet get little media coverage
Here's a map of nitrogen dioxide emissions across Europe. It's particularly bad all over England and Holland, but most of Europe see much lower concentrations.
Does anyone know why this is the case? It's seems very worrying and I don't think I've ever read a news article about this form of terrible pollution.
