Based on the number of u-turns this government has made I have zero confidence the rest of 2020 and early 2021 won’t be a complete disaster.
Personally my partner and I have a decent amount of savings, mortgage + two jobs in sectors that are not impacted by Covid (yet). Hoping we can just ride it out (if we do lose our jobs at some point).
It’s gonna be a pretty dire time for anyone on a low income living in precarious rentals.
