Can we stop abusing retail staff?

Went to Asda yesterday and people were treating the staff like ****. None of this is their fault.

I saw a posh woman outraged at being made to wait outside in the cold while an older man washed his hands before entering.

Then a young (18 ish) checkout girl had to deal with this arrogant old businessman kicking off because he was only allowed to buy 3 of one item, not like 15 of the coffee pods he was trying to buy. He was reacting like this was all new information and that she was to blame for it.

These people arent on reddit but can we intervene when it happens.

I intervened on both occasions to help take the flak off the staff. They have to work all this time risking getting sick, the least we can do is treat them like humans.

Some days i wish the asteroid would hurry up.
