What do I wear to my induction if it says smart casual?

This is probably the wrong place so I’m sorry in advance, it’s just I’m stressing about this induction tomorrow.

I had an assessment centre at a finance graduate scheme with a retail company a month or so ago and they said the dress code was business casual. I’m terrible with this stuff and didn’t want to risk it so I just wore a suit and tie and the other guys there with me had done the same. When we got a tour of the offices, all the Male employees were wearing shirt+trousers or jumper+trousers and not full suits.

I got the job and I have an induction tomorrow where it says smart casual. I’m not sure what this means. Would I go in a shirt + trousers or suit and tie or just suit?
