General election before Second referendum?

These two “events” are currently looking more likely but the order in which they occur is, in my view being ignored and extremely vital.

If we have a GE before a second referendum, we risk having the elected governments’ manifesto contradicting the second referendum result.

If you actually want to deliver democracy, you must have the referendum before the election, so manifestos can be drawn up on this basis, the risk of having a remain/brexit leader delivering brexit/remain is odd. This current car crash is in part helped by the fact that TM voted remain but is trying to deliver brexit. Image the ERGs candidate delivering and continuing remain.
